Biography of Prathap Reddy
Prathap Reddy is an Indian entrepreneur, physician, and cardiologist.
He is best known as the founder of one of the most renowned healthcare networks in India, the Apollo Hospitals Group. In March 2010, Reddy was honored with the second-highest civilian award in the country, the Padma Vibhushan.
Early Life and Education
Reddy began his medical education at Stanley Medical College in Chennai, where he studied medicine.
He later pursued cardiology in the United Kingdom and the United States, completing his internship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He also participated in research programs at a hospital in Missouri.
